My journey into wellness entrepreneurship wasn’t a straight line… it was me slowly (and then very quickly 😆) remembering that we came to Earth to share our gifts.
It started with a season of life, my Saturn return in my late 20s (IYKYK...) when I realized I felt disconnected from my body and my creativity. I received the intuitive nudge to return to my art and to movement. Around that time, I completed my 200-hour, in-person yoga teacher training, which deepened that return even more. All those hours on the mat and in meditation helped me re-learn how to trust what I can only describe as Source/Universe/God. And that trust gave me the courage to step off the conventional path and onto one of my own.
At the same time, my body was also screaming at me to pay closer attention. I was experiencing severe autoimmune symptoms, which forced me to take ownership of my health in a way that wasn’t reliant on our conventional western healthcare system. That navigation led me toward more holistic, proactive, and alternative modes of healing, including naturopathy, somatic bodywork, hydrogen water, cold exposure… the list could go on.
And then, that led me to becoming a distributor for the water ionizer company I’m now affiliated with. What began as a personal healing journey evolved into a business rooted in proactive wellness, empowering others to take the lead in their own health and helping myself and others realize that health and wealth truly do go hand in hand.
Starting and committing to this wellness-based online business created confidence in so many areas of my life. It’s teaching me new things every day. It showed me that I could design work around my life, not the other way around. And that confidence opened the door for me to launch as a sole proprietor teaching yoga and to continue expanding as an entrepreneur.
Today, I see opportunities differently. I’ve learned how to discern what is truly aligned with my soul’s calling and what is simply noise (i.e. when to say "no"). My entrepreneurial work will continue to evolve, ebbing and flowing with the seasons of my life. And now, as a new mother, flexibility and autonomy in my work matter more than ever.
I’ve realized it isn’t about committing to just one business model or income stream. It’s about building a flexible, well-rounded life where creativity, health, family, and purpose can coexist, it can all flow sustainably and intentionally together.
